Should high speed rail be outlawed?

Yes. High speed rail is nothing more than a jobs bill for union workers. It costs billions of taxpayer dollars for a train to go about 40 miles an hour faster. Who cares? We aren't Europe and never will be no matter how hard the Democrats try to lower our standard of living to Europe where most people don't own a car and have two changes of clothes and two pairs of shoes.
