I'm christian and bi, if gay marriage doesn't become legal how does premarital sex apply?

yes i know its a stupid question but its more for my friends who are either christian/muslim(insert conservative religion here) than for me. i'm not waiting for sex till i'm married or anything, just waiting till i fall in love:) but i know other people who are gay/bi who do want to wait till they are married, but are scared because gay marriage is outlawed. i try to tell them that they can still get married, but they told me that their church speaks against gay relationships and they are afraid of being turned down because they want to be married in the church they grew up in. i tried to explain that they can get married in gay/bi churches close by, but thing is, where i'm from there are not a lot. also they are afraid that God would not think that they are legal marriages. i know a lot of christians who do not believe in gay marriage at all, saying it wouldn't bind with God and that not only are they living an unholy lifestyle but they are committing premarital sex. i'm hearing this and so are my friends which is freaking them out even more. i don't know what to tell them or what else to tell them. any gay or bi christians on here who may give some good advice as to how God doesn't care, he loves us anyways?
